In our Fidor self-service section you can find everything you need to know about how to do your banking easily and conveniently - without the support of customer service.
For example, you can change your data independently within the online banking portal, manage cards in the app or view all your transactions at a glance.




Change your personal data
Online banking portal
You obtained a new mobile number or email address? Do not forget to update your Fidor bank account to ensure that you still have access to your banking.
To update your personal data within the online banking portal go to Einstellungen → Zugangsdaten. By using your FIN (Fidor Identification Number) you can easily change your personal data yourself.
If you want to change other personal data such as your postal address, you can do this directly under Einstellungen → Stammdaten.
If it is not possible for you as a business customer to change your personal data online, send us your change request as a photo or scan attached to an e-mail to kundenservice@fidor.de. Please note that we need your original signature on the change request. This also applies if your previous mobile number or e-mail address no longer exists.

Request a data report

As stipulated by law, we provide information about the personal data that is stored and processed by us. You can download your data report as a PDF file within the online banking portal under Einstellungen → Stammdaten.
This data report includes all saved personal data within our company according to article 15 DSGVO.

Then simply activate your bank alerts within the online banking portal under Einstellungen → Nachrichtenbox.

What is the FIN and what do I need it for?
Online banking portal
The FIN (Fidor Identification Number) is a 6-digit number that you selected when opening your account.
You need it to authenticate yourself when calling customer service and to change your personal data such as your e-mail address or mobile number. You can easily do the latter within the online banking portal under Einstellungen → Zugangsdaten ändern.

Request a new FIN
Online banking portal
If you have forgotten your FIN, you can have it reset within the online banking portal under Einstellungen → Bankkonto.
To do this, please log in to the online banking portal and fill out the form stored there and send it, signed by hand, as a photo or scan to kundenservice@fidor.de. After the old FIN has been reset by customer service, you will be asked to specify a new FIN.

View and download my bank and closing statements
Online banking portal
You can find within the online banking portal under Nachrichtenbox → Übersicht an overview of your bank and closing statements.
By clicking on the respective document, you will be able to view it, and automatically download the document. Please remember to archive the bank statements like all other bank documents for your records.
App
Within the lower navigation bar of your Fidor Smart Banking App, you will find the option Nachrichtenbox. Here you can view documents such as bank- and closing statements as well as other important information. By clicking on the respective document you can open and download it.

Export my transactions as CSV
Online banking portal
You can find within the online banking portal under Umsätze an overview of all your transactions. Click on the button CSV-Export in the lower left and download the file.

Share my IBAN
Online banking portal
You can always find your IBAN and BIC located at the top right of the online banking portal. Just copy and paste it where you need it.
App
Within your Fidor Smart Banking App click on the menu in the top left. Your IBAN, BIC and nick will now appear in the opened menu. Underneath this information there is the option Teilen. By clicking on the button you can share your account details via different channels.

Issue and manage an exemption order
Online banking portal
You can easily issue and manage an exemption order within the online banking portal under Einstellungen → Bankkonto.

Reset or change my password
Online banking portal
Within the online banking portal you can directly change your password under Einstellungen → Zugangsdaten.
You will receive an e-mail from us to the e-mail address provided. By clicking on the link in the e-mail you will be led directly to the new password assignment. There you can enter your new password and confirm it by mTAN.
App
Within your Fidor Smart Banking App click on the menu in the top left, then select Einstellungen → Passwort neu setzen. Enter your e-mail address and we will immediately send you a link that leads you to the new password assignment.

Check my bonus transactions
Online banking portal
You can review all your transactions for the current month within the online banking portal under Bonus in the so called Transaktionszähler.
So you can see at a glance whether you have already secured your activity bonus. You will receive it with the 11th transaction.
App
Within your Fidor Smart Banking App you can review all your transactions for the current month easily on the top left underneath the € symbol.

Change my transaction limits
Online banking portal
You can easily change your transaction limits within the online banking portal under Einstellungen → Bankkonto → Konto-Limits ändern.
The order limit describes the maximum amount that you can send per transaction; the daily limit is the overall amount of all orders that you can send per day. This includes manual SEPA transfers, money sending, and foreign currency purchases. Standing orders, time transfers and international transfers are excluded.

Order a new Mastercard®
Online banking portal
Order a new or different Mastercard® directly within the online banking portal.
If you would like to order a physical card in conjunction to your digital card, your digital card will be automatically deactivated and you will receive your new physical Mastercard® within a few days. However, you can reactivate your digital card within the online banking portal under Einstellungen → Kartenverwaltung at anytime and continue to use it.
If you would like to switch, for example from your Fidor Debit Mastercard® to the Fidor Smartcard, your current card will be automatically blocked and we will send you the card you ordered within a few days.
App
To order a new card within your Fidor Smart Banking App, click on Kartenverwaltung → Karte bestellen in the lower navigation bar.
If you like to order a physical card in conjunction to your digital card, your digital card will be automatically deactivated and you will receive your new physical Mastercard® within a few days.
However, you can reactivate your digital card within the online banking portal at any time and continue to use it.

Block or cancel your Mastercard®
Online banking portal
Block your card directly within the online banking portal under Einstellungen → Kartenverwaltung → Karte sperren / kündigen and we will automatically send you a replacement card within a few days.
Or cancel your card without commissioning a replacement card.
App
Within your Fidor Smart Banking App you can block your card and automatically order a new one. Simply click on Kartenverwaltung → Ersatzkarte bestellen in the navigation bar below.
If you want to permanently block your card, you can do this easily under Kartenverwaltung → Karte dauerhaft sperren.

Set the available limit of your Mastercard®
Online banking portal
Set the available limit of your Mastercard® directly within the online banking portal under Einstellungen → Kartenverwaltung → Limits verwalten.
Then confirm the change with your Freigabe-PIN.
- The order limit includes the maximum amount per individual order.
- The daily limit includes the maximum amount of all orders per day.
- The respective limits can be set to an amount between 0 and 50,000 EUR.
ATTENTION: The higher the set limit, the higher the risk of fraud!

To change your transaction limits, please click within your Fidor Smart Banking App on the menu in the top left: Einstellungen → Kartenverwaltung → Transaktionslimits ändern.
Then confirm the change with your authorization PIN.

- The respective limits can be set to an amount between 0 and 50,000 EUR.

Display your card details
Online banking portal
View your card details such as the complete card number or CVC-Code directly within the online banking portal under Einstellungen → Kartenverwaltung → Kartendetails.
App
You can view your card details such as the complete card number or CVC-Code within the Fidor Smart Banking App at the bottom left Kartenverwaltung → Kartendetails abrufen. Now all you need to do is enter your authorization PIN and the card details are displayed.

Activate Geoblocking
Online banking portal
To make your card even more secure, you can select with the help of our Geoblocking function the individual countries where your card should work or where it should be blocked.
You can easily do that under Einstellungen → Kartenverwaltung → Sperren verwalten within the online banking portal.
App
Within your Fidor Smart Banking App you will find in the lower navigation bar the option Kartenverwaltung → Geoblocking.
Here you can choose the countries in which the use of your Mastercard® should be allowed or blocked.

Activate my Mastercard® for Apple or Fidor Pay
Online banking portal
Fidor Pay:
Fidor Pay is possible with the Fidor Smartcard as well as with the Fidor Debit Mastercard®, you simply have to activate it. You can only do this via the Fidor Smart Banking App. If you lose your mobile phone, you can block your Mastercard® at any time directly within the online banking portal under Einstellungen → Kartenverwaltung selbst sperren.
Apple Pay:
Apple Pay is possible with the Fidor Smartcard as well as with the Fidor Debit Mastercard®. Simply activate or deactivate Apple Pay via your Apple Pay Wallet.

Fidor Pay:
Within your Fidor Smart Banking App, Fidor Pay is automatically set for the Fidor Smartcard and Fidor Debit Mastercard®, you simply have to activate it. You can activate and block the card for Fidor Pay by clicking on the option Kartenverwaltung → Fidor Pay. By activating the card, a separate Pay PIN is required, which you can choose yourself.
Apple Pay:
Within your Fidor Smart Banking App you can find in the lower navigation bar the option Kartenverwaltung → Apple Pay. Here you can activate or deactivate your Fidor Smartcard or Fidor Debit Mastercard® via the Apple Pay Wallet.

Set up a standing order
Online banking portal
Within the online banking portal under Cash Manager → Überweisungen → SEPA-Dauerauftrag you can easily set up a standing order.
App
Within your Fidor Smart Banking App click in the lower navigation bar on Geld senden → Dauerauftrag → neuer SEPA-Dauerauftrag. Now you can easily set up a standing order.

Within the online banking portal under Cash Manager → Überweisungen → Meine Daueraufträge you can select from the overview the standing order you wish to change, delete and/or create a new one. Confirm the order by entering the mTAN.

Within your Fidor Smart Banking App click in the lower navigation bar on Geld senden → Dauerauftrag. Now you select the standing order to be changed in the overview, delete it and create a new one.

Within the online banking portal under Cash Manager → Überweisungen → Meine Daueraufträge you can select from the overview the standing order you wish to be deleted, then click on delete and confirm the order by entering the mTAN.

Within your Fidor Smart Banking App click in the lower navigation bar on Geld senden → Dauerauftrag. Now select the standing order to be deleted in the overview, click on Dauerauftrag löschen and confirm this with your Freigabe- PIN.

Block direct debits
Online banking portal
Within the online banking portal, you can easily block a direct debit under Einstellungen → Bankkonto → Sperre einrichten.
You have 3 options for blocking a direct debit:

Complete block:
Direct debits are no longer possible after the block.

Blocking of certain direct debit creditors:
After a list has been generated with the names of the creditors and the creditor IDs, collections from these creditors are no longer possible. The creditor ID can usually be found on the invoice of the direct debit creditor.

Set up a date transfer
Online banking portal
Within the online banking portal you can easily change a date transfer under Cash Manager → Überweisungen → auf beliebiges Konto per SEPA-Überweisung.
App
Within your Fidor Smart Banking App click in the lower navigation bar on Geld senden → Terminüberweisung verwalten. Select the order to be changed from the overview, click on Terminüberweisung löschen and confirm the order with your Freigabe- PIN. Now you set up a new date transfer under Geld senden → SEPA-Überweisung → Neue SEPA-Überweisung.

Within the online banking portal you can easily change a date transfer under Cash Manager → Überweisungen → auf beliebiges Konto per SEPA-Überweisung. Select it from the overview, delete it and set it up again with the changed data.

Within your Fidor Smart Banking App click in the lower navigation bar on Geld senden → Terminüberweisung verwalten. Select the order to be changed from the overview, click on Terminüberweisung löschen and confirm the order with your Freigabe- PIN. Now you set up a new date transfer under Geld senden → SEPA-Überweisung → Neue SEPA-Überweisung.

Delete a date transfer

You can delete a date transfer within the online banking portal under Cash Manager → Überweisungen → auf beliebiges Konto per SEPA-Überweisung → Meine Terminüberweisung.
Select it in the overview, delete it and confirm the order with your Freigabe-PIN.

Within your Fidor Smart Banking App click in the lower navigation bar on Geld senden → Terminüberweisung verwalten. Select the date order to be deleted, click on Terminüberweisung löschen and confirm the order with your Freigabe-PIN.

Create a balance confirmation
Online banking portal
Within the online banking portal you can get a balance confirmation for a selected date as a PDF file.
Just click on Einstellungen → Bankkonto.
The balance confirmation is the proof of your account balance on a certain date. It thus serves as proof for the existence, the amount and the time-based delimitation of assets and liabilities in the context of the annual audit. Therefore, the balance confirmation is primarily relevant for business customers.

Apply for an overdraft facility or change your current one
Online banking portal
To apply for an overdraft facility or to change an existing one within the online banking portal, click on Cash Manager → Dispokredit.
App
Within your Fidor Smart Banking App, click in the lower navigation bar on Geldservice → Angebote. Here you can find a current offer for your personal overdraft facility and you will be easily directed to the application in our online banking portal.

You can find the currently valid overdraft interest under Cash Manager → Dispokredit → Abschließen within the online banking portal.

You can find your current credit line within the online banking portal under Finanzstatus.
App
Within your Fidor Smart Banking App click in the lower navigation bar on Geldservice → Aktive Services. Here you can find your current credit line as well as its status or the amount still available.

Connect my current account with Kraken
To connect your Fidor current account to Kraken, first register at kraken.com or log into your existing account. In the start screen click on the blue icon in the upper right corner of the screen and select Fund. In the next window click on Deposit after Euro. Then select Fidor Bank AG i. L. (SEPA). Kraken's account information will now be displayed.
Transfer the desired amount from your Fidor checking account to Kraken. The transfer from a Fidor account usually only takes a few minutes.
Only the first transaction can take a day or two, as Kraken manually verifies this once.

Buying Bitcoin with Fidor and Kraken
After having transferred the desired amount from your Fidor account to your Kraken account, log into your Kraken account again and can carry out your desired transaction here.

Connect my current account with bitcoin.de
To connect your Fidor current account to bitcoin.de, first register on bitcoin.de or log into your existing account there.
In the settings you will now find the option Activate bank account. Click on the button Activate my existing Fidor bank account. You will be forwarded directly to fidor.de, enter your login data there to confirm the link between the bank account and bitcoin.de. Your identification data will be automatically transmitted from Fidor Bank to bitcoin.de. This process is usually completed within a few moments. After successful verification you will be redirected back to bitcoin.de, where you can start trading.

Buying bitcoin with Fidor and bitcoin.de's express trading
Generally, it can take a few days to complete a purchase or sale on bitcoin.de. The buyer transfers the amount to the seller, who then confirms receipt of the transfer before the buyer receives the cryptocurrencies.
Thanks to the partnership between Fidor and bitcoin.de, Fidor customers with an active checking account can use express trading exclusively and complete the transaction in just a few minutes.
Log into your account at bitcoin.de and go to My Bitcoin and then to Reservation of bank balances. Here you determine which amount you reserve on your Fidor account for express trading via bitcoin.de, and for which period this amount should remain reserved.
By clicking on Initiate reservation you will be forwarded to your Fidor account. Log in and confirm the reservation. You can now access the reserved amount in your bitcoin.de account in real time.
To use the express trading, go to Marketplace on bitcoin.de and filter the search results for Payment processing via express trading. Now enter the number of bitcoins you want into the search field and the maximum purchase price you are willing to pay. You choose from the results the offer that suits you best and click on Buy. Finished!
You can now find the Bitcoins you have purchased under My Bitcoin → Overview. Here you also have the option of transferring your Bitcoins to your wallet. In our PLVZ (price list of services) you will find the current buyer and seller fees for Bitcoin.de's express trading (Expresshandel).
