analytics and Tracking Tools

Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site.

Fidor uses so-called pixels of different providers and affiliate programs for user tracking. Pixels are also called tracking pixels, web beacons or web bugs. These are small, invisible files on web pages. Pixels can be used to recognise and share certain types of information on your computer system, such as the content of cookies, the time and date the page was viewed, and a description of the page on which the pixel is located. A transaction can thus be assigned to a specific publisher or affiliate.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to analyse and improve the use of our website.

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. However, if IP anonymisation is enabled on this website, Google will previously truncate your IP address within member states of the European Union or other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The legal basis for the processing of data with the help of Google Analytics is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and Google from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link:

http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

We use Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". This shortens the IP addresses (so-called IP masking). A reference to certain persons can thus be excluded. Google participates in the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. This ensures an adequate level of data protection even in the exceptional cases in which Google transfers personal data to the USA.

Google Tag Manager
To promote our services, we serve Google Adwords ads and use Google Conversion Tracking and Google Tag Manager for personalised, interest-based, location-based online advertising. The option to make IP addresses anonymous is controlled in the Google Tag Manager by an internal setting that is not visible in the source of this page. This internal setting is set so that the anonymisation of IP addresses required by the Federal Data Protection Act is achieved.
The ads are displayed on Google advertising network web pages after search queries. We have the option of combining our ads with specific search terms. With the help of cookies, we can place ads based on a user's previous visits to our website.
When you click on an advertisement, Google places a cookie on the user's computer. Further information on the cookie technology used can also be found in Google’s website statistics and privacy policy.
With the help of this technology, Google and we as customers receive information that a user clicked on an ad and was redirected to our websites. The information obtained in this way is used exclusively for statistical evaluation for ad optimisation. We do not receive information that personally identifies visitors. The statistics provided to us by Google include the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads and, if applicable, whether they were directed to a page on our site with a conversion tag. These statistics allow us to track which keywords were clicked on our ad particularly often and which ads lead to the user contacting us via the contact form.
If you do not wish to do so, you can prevent the cookies required for these technologies from being saved, for example, by changing your browser settings. In this case, your visit will not be included in the user statistics.
You also have the option to select the types of Google ads you want to see or disable interest-based ads on Google via the ads setting. Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies by third parties by going to the Network Advertising Initiative disable help.

Google Dynamic Remarketing
On our website we use the dynamic remarketing feature of Google Ad-Words, a service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). This technology enables us to automatically generate target group-oriented advertising after your visit to our website. The ads are based on the products and services you clicked on last time you visited our website.
Google uses cookies to create interest-based ads. Cookies are small text files that are saved in your browser when you visit our website. Google usually stores information such as your web request, IP address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request. This information is only used to assign the web browser to a particular computer. They cannot be used to identify a person.
If you don't want to receive user-based advertising from Google, you can opt out of placing ads using Google’s ad setting. You can read more about how Google uses cookies in Google’s privacy statement.

Google reCAPTCHA
In order to ensure sufficient security in the transmission of forms, in some cases, we use the reCAPTCHA service of Google Inc. This serves, in particular, to differentiate whether the input is made by a natural person or is abused by mechanical and automated processing operations of third parties. When using the service, the  IP address and any other data required by Google for the service reCAPTCHA will be transmitted to Google. This is governed by Google Inc.'s different privacy policy. For more information about Google Inc.'s privacy policy, please visit http://www.google.de/intl/de/privacyoder or https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Bing Ads Conversion Tracking
Our online services also use Microsoft Conversion Tracking (Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA). Microsoft Bing Ads will set a cookie on your computer if you have reached our website via a Microsoft Bing advertisement. Microsoft Bing and we can see in this way that someone clicked on an ad, was redirected to our site and reached a predetermined destination page (conversion page). We only get to know the total number of users who clicked on a Bing ad and were then redirected to a conversion page. No personal information about the identity of the user will be disclosed. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking procedure, you can also refuse to set a cookie as required for this purpose – for example by setting your browser to deactivate the automatic setting of cookies in general. You can find more information about data protection and the cookies used by Microsoft Bing on the Microsoft website: privacy.microsoft.com/en-en/privacystatement.

Optimizely
This website uses Optimizely, a web analysis service provided by Optimizely, Inc. ("Optimizely"). Optimizely uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website will generally be transmitted to and stored by Optimizely on servers in the United States. However, if IP anonymisation is enabled on our website, Optimizely will previously truncate your IP address within member states of the European Union or other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to an Optimizely server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Optimizely will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website and compiling reports on website activity. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Optimizely is not merged with other data from Optimizely.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Ingenious Technologies
We use a tracking technology from Ingenious Technologies AG ("Ingenious"), Französische Straße 48, 10117 Berlin, Germany, to establish the connection between a user's click on an advertising medium or advertisement (touchpoint) and action by you (your registration as a potential borrower on our website). At each touchpoint, your browser sends an HTTP request to Ingenious' server to provide certain information. The cookie stores information about the last touchpoints (i.e. when a particular advertising medium was displayed or clicked on by a terminal device). In addition, a cookie ID generated by Ingenious is stored in the cookie. Ingenious stores the data about the touchpoints and information about your actions for this cookie ID. The information transmitted to Ingenious and the cookies serve exclusively the purpose of a correct allocation of the success of an advertising medium and the corresponding accounting and is justified with our legitimate interests according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. If necessary, individual requests can be combined to form a sequence chain (user journey).

If you do not wish cookies to be stored in your browser, you can do this by setting your browser accordingly. SDu can disable the storage of cookies in your respective browser under Extras/Internet Options, restrict it to certain websites or set your browser to notify you when a cookie is sent.
